As the July show wrapped up many of the cruisers had questions about the special entertainment for August.The Oscar Mayer Weinermobile will be displayed at Cruisin on Main August 21st.

Easily the most famous of all product-shaped promotional vehicles, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile has a history dating back more than a half a century. Can you guess what the driving team is called (what else) “Hotdoggers”.

Grab your camera and bring kids to meet the “Hotdoggers” and take a closer look at one of the most unique vehicles ever designed.

Vettes Rule at Cruisin’ on Main

June was Corvette month as many car enthusiasts participated in Cruisin’ on Main. Lake Cumberland Corvette Club along with many local Corvette owners displayed their cars on main. A 1963 split window pro modified race car was featured and the favorite as it was started for all of London to hear its horsepower.

Vendors and entertainment included Diecast Models, Game Truck, Windstream Truck and South East KY Cruisers Car Club.

Great turnout at May’s Cruisin on Main for Mustang Month.

We want to thank all of our sponsors and everyone that joined us for the day. The weather was great as we opened the streets of Downtown London to some of the area’s best classics and hot rods. And yes…the Mustangs were awesome!

Cruisin on Main would like to congratulate the following award winners!

Longest Distance Award went to a couple from Pensacola, FL

We want to invite everyone back for June’s Cuisin’ on Main for Corvette Month!

Registration is always free and dont forget to register for the prizes! After the cruise-in we will parade to the London Raceway to watch some drag racing at its best.

Cruisin on Main has a new schedule for 2010!

London Downtown will host Cruisin on Main for 2010 with a new schedule. The first Cruise-in will start in May and run through September. The day has changed to the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Planning has already started to make each Cruise-in fun, exciting and an event to remember.

Main street was alive with some serious horsepower! Cruisin’ on Main welcomed several race cars including some locally owned favorites. Cruisin on Main will close the summer on October the 3rd spotlighting Mopars! Check out some photos!

Great day for a cruisin! The weather was nice and the trucks came out.

Our September cruisin will feature Race Cars. We have several for the show and yes…they will start them during the cruisin! The Pine Mountain Dancers will make another appearance this month and the Windstream Truck will be joining us. See you there!

August is Truck Month!

Great turn out for our July show that featured a corral of Mustangs!
We really enjoyed everyone that participated in the holiday with us.

The Friday night before each Cruisin on Main’ event will feature the Friday Night Block Party that will take place from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Big K-Mart parking lot on the 192 Bypass in London, KY!
